Healthy Hollywood: Ask Keri Glassman — What Are Fiddleheads & Should I Try Them?
NEW YARK, N.Y.--Nutritionist Keri Glassman, who
regularly shares her expertise on Access Hollywood and Access Hollywood
Live, is answering your nutrition, diet, and health questions.
Want to know which foods to curb sugar
cravings? Or, what should you eat before a workout? Ask Keri anything!
Keri will choose one great question a
week to be answered Thursday in our Healthy Hollywood column.
This week’s question — I’ve been
seeing fiddleheads everywhere on menus. What are they and should I be
trying them?
Keri says…
Thanks for your question! Fiddleheads
might seem like something for more adventurous types to try, but I
promise you’ll love them! So what exactly are they?? A fiddlehead is a
baby fern that is cut before it matures. Just 10 calories per ounce, or
40 calories per half cup, fiddleheads are a pretty good source of
protein, zinc, vitamin A and vitamin C. Choose ones that are tightly
curled, small, firm and bright green. Add them to salads, use as garnish
or sauté quickly with vegetables. They are so pretty, you’ll love
having them on your plate!

LOS ANGELES, CALIF.--“It’s Not Engaging Enough”
“The Five-Year Engagement”
Jason Segel, Emily Blunt
Directed by Nicholas Stoller
In “The Five-Year Engagement,” Jason Segel slowly loses his patience, his identity and eventually his sanity when his engagement to Emily Blunt drags on and on with no end in sight. Seeing as how the same could be said about the movie, we feel his pain.

LOS ANGELES, CALIF.--Audiences have fallen head over red hoods for “Grimm,” following David Giuntoli’s Det. Nick Burkhardt as he fights to maintain the balance between mankind and the mythological alongside his now-trusted Blutbad pal, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell).
Fresh off the show’s second season pickup, David stopped by Access Hollywood this week to answer our burning questions about the intriguingly eerie NBC hit.
First up on our list, what’s the story behind Captain Renard’s questionable allegiance and why has Nick — a seemingly all-seeing Grimm — been blind to his involvement with the hidden world?

Hugh Grant: Having A Child ‘Is Life Changing’

It changes your life.’ And, you’re thinking, ‘Oh, shut-up!’ And now that I have [a child], it is life changing. I recommend it. Get some.”

NBC’s ‘30 Rock’ Rocks Out With Live Episode
"NEW YARK"
In a break from its usual filmed style, NBC’s “30 Rock” went live Thursday night with an episode that was full of fun and, yes, very lively.
As promised, the setup for the episode had boss Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) delivering the bad news that, as a cost-cutting measure, “TGS,” the fictitious show-within-a-show produced by Liz Lemon (series star Tina Fey), would henceforth be filmed, not broadcast live.
“From now on,” he said, “you write and shoot the season in two weeks, like ‘Wheel of Fortune’ and Fox News.”
Liz erupted in protest.
”‘TGS’ has to be live or it will lose all its excitement and spontaneity,” she declared. “That’s the beauty of live TV: Anything can happen!”
